Dr. Vascik received his Medical Degree from the University of Illinois in 1978.  He subsequently completed residencies at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio and the Division of Neurosurgery at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, Canada, where he was Chief Resident.  He is Board Certified by the Canadian Neurosurgical Association.  In addition, he is also a Diplomat of the American Board of Neurological Surgery.
